Unlike a typical corner sofa, left hand facing corner sofas have one longer side and one smaller side. On a left hand facing corner sofa, the left hand side is longer than the right.

Just like a left hand facing corner, chaise sofas have one longer side and one smaller side. On a left hand chaise sofa, it features a longer back section and then a footrest on the left side (when looking from the front of the sofa!).

How to assemble a sofa in a box?
Sofas in a box are the future of sofa design, making them easy to fit through doors, up the stairs, transport and assemble, move and disassemble at any time. All of our sofas are flat packed into 2-3 boxes, our modular sofas are perfect for those looking for a beautifully designed, sustainable sofa that can add life to any home.
What is a sofa in a box?
Sofas in a box is a sofa that comes in flat packed boxes. A sofa in a box takes away the worry of the sofa fitting through your doors or up the stairs as they can be easily transported throughout your home.
Once delivered, the sofas are easy to assemble and also disassemble should you want to move the sofa to another home or area of your home.
How to assemble a sofa in a box?
Assembling a sofa may seem like a big task, however, it is super easy. With no tools required you can easily assemble the sofa by yourself. However, we do recommend two people to make the job easier and more fun!
How to assemble a sofa in a box:
- Open each box and remove the parts of the sofa (each box will be clearly labelled for ease).
- Once all components are out of the boxes, if the sofa has feet. Screw the sofa legs into the base of the sofa.
- Flip the sofa back over and simply slide the arms into place until you hear them click into place.
- Slide the back of the sofa again until you hear a click.
- Add the back and seat cushions.
- Sit back and relax!
If you’d prefer, we are more than happy to assemble your new Habbio products. We will deliver to the room of your choice and even remove the packaging to re-use, re-purpose or recycle.

Ideally, your sofa shouldn’t take up all the space in your living room, however, it is personal preference. Typically, people follow the 2:3 rule, which is where people divide a room into three and the sofa should take up 2:3’s of it. Ideally there should be around 2 – 3 feet around the sofa for ease of movement.
How many people can sit on a three seater sofa?

How heavy is a three seater sofa?
A three seater sofa usually weighs between 40 – 80 kg depending on the type of materials used and the actual size of the sofa.
At Habbio, our 3 seater sofas are delivered in three boxes and are easily assembled and disassembled. This means the boxes can be easily moved before assembly but the sofa can be taken apart and moved easily whenever needed.

Whether or not a 3 seater sofa will fit through a door will depend on the size of the sofa and the size of your doors. Usually, the answer would be yes, but we recommend measuring both to ensure it does fit.
Is assembly required when purchasing a 3-seater sofa?
Some three seaters sofa will require some assembling, however some will come ready assembled – it will completely depend on the sofa and brand you choose.
