We originally launched our sofa bed range with a storage unit, and we have now added to the range a no storage unit. This has allowed us to offer a sofa bed range at a lower price which we feel will make this fantastic sofa bed more affordable to more and more customers.

We have updated our website to lead with the no storage unit range and then if a storage unit is required, at the moment, you can order it separately by emailing us on info@habbio.co.uk

The sizes of the storage unit are:

  • Single bed storage compartment measures: W59cm x D53cm x H5cm                                   Extra Cost £207
  • Double bed storage compartment measures: W102cm x D53cm x H5cm                              Extra Cost £294

Habbio fibre is made from textile waste and recycled plastics that have been diverted from entering landfill and our oceans. These are then woven into layers of soft polyester and processed into different densities that are used extensively in the bedding industry. Our fibre seat cushions are soft and supportive and are 100% polyester and 100% recyclable.

Habbio has designed a range of sofas that are recyclable and non-toxic. Following an intensive period of research, Habbio has developed soft and supportive fibre fillings that give a better performance and comfort level than foam fillings.

We use steel serpentine springs, they give good movement and enable us to achieve our slender seat platforms.

Habbio frames are made from FSC certified beech and other FSC hardwoods.

We are proud to say that all Habbio products are vegan. And are the first fully certified Vegan sofas in the UK, through the Vegan Friendly certification.

Since we launched Habbio 3 years ago, we have seen costs increase across all areas. We believe costs are showing signs of levelling off and our supply chain is reporting a more stable position, however, from the 5th February 2024 our prices will increase by 4.75%.

We want sustainable furniture to be affordable and will continue to work very hard to bring you fantastic value, the very best quality, and exceptional service, with our sofas that fit into the most difficult of spaces whilst remaining adaptable and flexible.

We continue to look after our incredibly skilled workforce, drivers, our dedicated management, and our brilliant customer service team.

We are very fortunate to have wonderful customers and you are our inspiration on a daily basis and we hope you will support us in the coming year. We pledge to continue to make sustainable furniture more accessible. Our hope is that with more people who choose to buy better, together we can support our supply chain to create more accessible products.

Our Eco Velvet fabrics are machine washable on a low intensity cycle of 30c or below. Cosy Threads and Zero Boucle are water & stain repellent and should be wiped with a damp cloth only. All Habbio fabrics are free from flourocarbons, PFOA and PFOS.

All Habbio fabrics are naturally stain resistant. We achieve this without adding flourocarbons, which we don’t think are necessary as our fabrics won’t absorb pigments from most household offenders. Should you have an incident, don’t panic but act whilst the stain is wet. Removing excess stain, blotting with a clean absorbent cloth and in dire circumstances deploying a good old fashioned sponge, soap and water will do the trick. Always allow the area to dry naturally.

All sofas sold in the UK are required to meet fire regulations by law. We only use non-toxic treatments on our furniture.

Our Eco Velvet, Cosy Threads and Zero Boucle fabrics use non-toxic and non-halogenated treatments.

Our fillings are made from recycled plastic bottles and are inherently fire retardant to UK standards, with no need for any additional chemicals.

We can usually resolve issues quickest via Email, info@habbio.co.uk. Please provide as much information (order details, tracking numbers, photos etc) as possible in your messages to us.

We appreciate that things can go wrong from time to time and we’ll work hard to get any issues fixed as quickly as possible. Our team have just one request – please be kind!

We can arrange for your old sofa to be collected ensuring as much as possible is reused, recycled, and diverted from landfill.  The collection option is available at checkout for an additional charge. To read more about our recycling options please click here.

We recommend that you keep all the packaging until you are 100% sure you are happy with your Habbio furniture, as all returns need to be in the original packaging or you will incur an additional charge. However, if you would like our delivery drivers to assemble the furniture for you we can take away the packaging at this point for re-use, re-purpose, or recycling. This will be noted and you will not incur a charge for this if you wish to return your furniture.

Your Habbio furniture will be hand made to order by experienced craftspeople here in the UK within a span of 10 days and is ready for delivery within 11 to 26 days. This structure allows us to reduce our carbon footprint and optimise our deliveries in your area in an environmentally conscious manner.

Why do we do it this way? Well, it’s all part of our grand plan to reduce our carbon footprint and make sure our deliveries in your area are as eco-friendly as possible. So, get ready to receive your Habbio furniture which is not only made sustainably but is delivered with the planet in mind.

At the checkout, please select from our delivery calendar a date that is most convenient to you. We will then assign your order to the closest day that we are in your area. Contact will be made from our team well in advance by either telephone or email to discuss the proposed delivery date.

      This can get a little complicated, so our standard practice is to cancel your existing order so that a new order can be placed for the correct items.

        Delivery

        At Habbio, we prioritise sustainability at every step of our delivery process. By opting for Eco Delivery, you actively contribute to reducing the number of trips we make, minimising our carbon footprint. You can feel at ease knowing that your furniture’s journey to you is carefully planned to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Once we receive your order, our dedicated in-house team based in Nottingham will determine the next available time slot in your area. We will then reach out to you to confirm a delivery date that suits you, allowing us to consolidate deliveries and minimise unnecessary journeys.

        We currently only deliver to Mainland UK, and delivery is free of charge.

        A week before your agreed delivery date, we’ll give you a time slot for the delivery via phone or email (please check your spam). Sometimes unexpected things pop up, such as traffic congestion or vehicle breakdowns. However, in such cases, our team will keep you informed. In the unlikely event that your delivery hasn’t arrived as planned and you haven’t heard from us, please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@habbio.co.uk or call 0115 880 0100. We’ll keep in touch as we work to resolve things as quickly as possible, your Habbio experience is important to us.

        All Habbio furniture is super easy to assemble, needs no tools and can be carried into the home with one or two people.

        However, we are more than happy to assemble your new habbio products. We will deliver to the room of your choice and if you wish even remove the packaging to re-use, re-purpose or recycle.

        We believe in community and helping others, so if you are physically unable to carry or assemble your Habbio sofa, please get in touch at info@habbio.co.uk and one of our Habbio helpers will come round and help.

        Our lovely customer service team will get in touch with you the day before your scheduled delivery to arrange a suitable time for your new habbio item to arrive. And our delivery team will always call with a heads up an hour before we arrive.

        We know sometimes life can throw some curveballs. So if for any reason you cannot be at home to accept your delivery please let us know as soon as possible on 0115 880 0100 or info@habbio.co.uk. And our team will aim to find a suitable solution.

        Items which cannot be delivered due to no one being home and no notice given will be subject to a redelivery fee.

        Our own in-house delivery team will hand deliver your new habbio to the room of your choice.

        And our lovely customer service team will be in-touch to arrange your delivery the day before your scheduled delivery date.

        Returns

        We’re really sorry if this is the case. In a addition to our 30 day free trial, we offer a 15 year frame guarantee and a 1 year manufacturing fault guarantee.

        Please contact us via email at info@habbio.co.uk and we’ll work towards a suitable resolution as quickly as possible.

        So that we can help right away, please include the following in your email:

        • A description of the fault, including photographs if possible.
        • Details of how the fault came to be.
        • Whether you’d prefer a refund or a replacement (subject to stock)

        Yes! Subject to stock availability, this can be arranged. Please follow the usual steps in setting up a return, but please include details of the product(s) you’d like to receive in exchange.

        We’ll collect and process the return in the usual way, but we’ll send out a new order in lieu of a refund. Where there is a difference in price, we’ll issue a partial refund to your original payment method (if the new product is cheaper than the original) or send a payment request for the balance owing (if the new product is more expensive than the original).

        Our returns process is nice and straightforward.

        Please contact us at info@habbio.co.uk with your return request (please provide your order number and reason for return) and we’ll make the necessary arrangements for collection. You’ll then be able to choose a convenient collection timeslot directly with our customer service team.

        You’ll need to please repackage your products into the boxes they arrived in. It’s no problem if you don’t have the boxes any more – we can send out new boxes if required, subject to a repackaging fee of £100. Just let us know if this needs to be arranged in your return request to us.
        We’ll then have your order refunded as soon as the products have been delivered back to our warehouse and inspected by our returns team. This process usually takes up to 10 working days.
