What is the average size of a three seater sofa?
The average size of a three seater sofa is around 110cm wide by 220cm long (around 4 feet by 8 feet). The size of a three seater will depend on the manufacturer of the sofa.

Ideally, your sofa shouldn’t take up all the space in your living room, however, it is personal preference. Typically, people follow the 2:3 rule, which is where people divide a room into three and the sofa should take up 2:3’s of it. Ideally there should be around 2 – 3 feet around the sofa for ease of movement.
How many people can sit on a three seater sofa?
Our three seater sofa’s comfortably seat up to three bums, plus a furry friend. It is perfect for a busy household but also offers room for ultimate lounging for a quieter home
How heavy is a three seater sofa?
A three seater sofa usually weighs between 40 – 80 kg depending on the type of materials used and the actual size of the sofa.
At Habbio, our 3 seater sofas are delivered in three boxes and are easily assembled and disassembled. This means the boxes can be easily moved before assembly but the sofa can be taken apart and moved easily whenever needed.

There are a few things to consider when choosing between a 2 seater and a 3 seater sofa, for example:
- Are there more than two people in your household?
- Do you often host guests?
- Do you like to stretch out and lounge on your sofa?
- Is your living room or space big enough for a three seater sofa?
If your answers to the above questions are yes, then a three seater may be the perfect size for you. Purchasing a modular sofa will allow you to add sections or take them away at any time – therefore your sofa can grow with you and your needs.
Will a 3 seater sofa fit through a door?
Whether or not a 3 seater sofa will fit through a door will depend on the size of the sofa and the size of your doors. Usually, the answer would be yes, but we recommend measuring both to ensure it does fit.
Is assembly required when purchasing a 3-seater sofa?
Some three seaters sofa will require some assembling, however some will come ready assembled – it will completely depend on the sofa and brand you choose.

How many cushions should you have on a 3 seater sofa?
The number of cushions will be up to you and your personal preference. We recommend around 3 to 6 scatter cushions for a three seater sofa.
